API permissions

QuietTotal is designed to work with a Kraken API key that has only Funds → Query Funds enabled. Do not enable trading, withdrawal, transfer, deposit, staking, or any other unnecessary permissions.

Credential safety

Never email Seven Pines Software your API key, private key, or QR codes. QuietTotal stores saved credentials locally in the iOS Keychain.

Account status

A green status dot means the account's most recent private balance refresh completed successfully. Amber means the latest private balance refresh failed and QuietTotal is showing the last successfully retrieved values. Red means the latest private balance refresh failed and no previously successful balance is available. Market-price delays are shown separately and do not change account status.

About QuietTotal

QuietTotal is a read-only balance and holdings viewer. It does not provide trading or withdrawal functionality. QuietTotal is an independent third-party application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kraken.
